What is Christ-Centered Community?
The New Testament Church lived in tight-knit community. In Acts 2:42-47, we see three functions of this community highlighted. We believe these are the key ingredients to experiencing new life in Christ Jesus.
1. Worship – Devotion to God
The church gathered together for worship every day – it was powerful! Not just that, they led lifestyles of worship, glorying God with everything they had, not just on Sundays, but every day. We’re going to gather for worship to experience God and encourage one another and motivate each other to offer our lives daily as a living sacrifice.

2. Discipleship – Devotion to Teaching
The church devoted themselves to the disciples teaching. We don’t want people to only experience God, but to know Him, His Word, and why they believe what they believe. We’re dedicated to a process that will move people from decision to disciple, and a culture of progressive discipleship in every setting – worship, small groups, and personal relationships.
3. Fellowship – Devotion to Relationships
The church gathered in each other’s homes, ate together, prayed together, and they sacrificially gave to one another. They were equally invested in each other’s lives. Transformation happens in the context of relationships. The stronger the relationships – the stronger the church. Small groups and community are not just good, but necessary.
